How much does a bathroom remodel cost?
Costs swing quite a bit depending on what’s changing. A vanity and tile refresh runs far less than gutting the room down to the studs and reworking the plumbing. Rather than throw out a number that might be way off, we’d rather walk your bathroom in person and hand you a real quote within 24 hours.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A standard bathroom remodel usually wraps up in two to four weeks. Bigger jobs, like moving plumbing, expanding the footprint, or converting a tub to a shower, can stretch longer. We’ll tell you upfront what to expect for your specific project, not a generic range.
Can I still use my bathroom during the remodel?
Not the one we’re actively working in. If it’s the only bathroom in the house, we’ll work out a plan with you before demo day so you’re not scrambling mid-project.
Do I need a permit for a bathroom remodel?
For some projects, yes, especially for anything touching major plumbing or electrical components. We pull the permits and handle inspections as part of the job, so that’s one less thing on your plate.
Do you handle both design and construction?
We do. The same people who help you pick a layout and finishes are the ones building it, so nothing gets lost in translation between a designer and a separate contractor.
What's included in my quote?
Labor, materials, and a written scope of exactly what’s being done make up the baseline. If there’s a decision that changes the price, like a tile upgrade or a different vanity, we’ll flag it before it ever hits your bill.
Can you convert my tub to a walk-in shower?
It’s one of the most common bathroom projects we take on. We’ll talk through shower size, glass versus a curtain, and what’s needed underneath to keep everything watertight for years, not just for the first winter.
What happens if you find water damage or mold once the walls are open?
It comes up more than you’d think, especially in older homes. If we open a wall and find rot or mold, we stop and show you before doing anything else, so you’re deciding on the repair with full information instead of finding a surprise line item later.
What tile, vanity, and countertop options do you offer?
There’s a wide range to choose from, and we’d rather you see and touch samples than pick off a screen. We bring options to the design consultation so you know exactly what’s going into your bathroom before we order anything.
Who handles the plumbing and electrical work?
Our own crew, not someone brought in just for the day. That covers everything from relocating a drain line to wiring a new vanity light or exhaust fan.
Do you clean up the job site each day?
Yes. Bathroom remodels kick up more dust and debris than people expect, and we don’t want it drifting through the rest of your house. We contain the mess and clean up before we leave each day.
Can you add features like grab bars or a curbless shower for aging in place?
Absolutely. If you’re planning ahead, whether for yourself or a parent moving in, we can build in grab bars, a curbless shower entry, a bench, or wider doorways. Tell us what you’re planning for and we’ll design around it.
