What Can We Build For You?
HOMES TRANSFORMED
Overview
Built Around Your Hours, Not Ours
A flooring project should not dictate the length of time a business is closed. Our installs are scheduled according to the owners and tenants needs, not the contractors.
What You Can Expect
- A site walkthrough for square footage and scope of work
- Scope and written quote you can take to ownership or a property manager for approval
- Scheduling installation around your business's hours, including nights and weekends when necessary
- Jobs are kept contained and clean so the rest of your space can remain open and functioning
- Our crews handle removal through completion of your flooring
- One point of contact for all communication regarding the job
- Photo updates so that you or a representative can keep an eye on the progress
- 1-year workmanship warranty in addition to whatever manufacturer's warranty comes with your commercial floor
A closed sign on your door costs you money, whether you are a restaurant, your business is located in a building with other tenants, or you run a retail store.
We work around your scheduling to make sure jobs are done as quickly as possible, so you can get back to making money instead of losing it.

Questions Property Managers and Business Owners Ask
Everything you need to know before we get started. Can’t find your answer? Call us.
Can you work outside normal business hours so we don't have to close?
Yes, and for some commercial jobs it’s actually the preferred option. We can schedule installation for nights, weekends, or a slower time of year for your business, whatever keeps your doors open and your revenue coming in. It depends on what material you want and how big the square footage is. LVP tends to be on the lower end of the pricing spectrum while solid hardwood and tile is towards the higher end. Simpler layouts also tend to be quicker to install, especially if you have a lot of cabinets or other features that eat into the square footage. We can give you a better idea and send over a quote for consideration within 24 hours of your call.
What flooring materials hold up best in high-traffic commercial spaces?
Commercial-grade luxury vinyl tile and carpet tile are standard for office, retail, and apartment common spaces. Restaurants and bars, on the other hand, typically need something much more slip-resistant and water-resistant for their kitchen and bar areas. You’ll work with us to determine which materials are right for your space and traffic level.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance before beginning work?
Yes. We provide a certificate of insurance before we begin work, as most commercial leases and property managers will require it before allowing a contractor on site.
Can you do phased installs so that we aren't completely shut down while the work happens?
In many cases we can. We can break up the work into sections so you don’t have to be completely shut down while it happens, and we’ll go over it with you during the walkthrough.
Does commercial-grade flooring need to meet ADA or slip-resistance standards?
It depends on the space, but some areas may need to meet ADA transition and slip-resistance guidelines. We’ll flag anything like that for you before installation begins, not after the fact when the issue is found.
How do you work with a leased space versus an owned space?
We’ll work directly with you and, if necessary, provide any documentation your landlord or property manager needs for approval. Just let us know if there are specific requirements your lease might have for work done on the premises.
Can you help us match the flooring across multiple locations?
Yes. Assuming you want to maintain a consistent look across all of your locations, we can help source the same materials for each one so they all match.
How long does a commercial flooring project typically take?
The length of time really depends on square footage and if we’re working around your business hours or not. An office, retail space, or restaurant is typically 1-2 weeks. Apartment unit turnover is usually a bit quicker, since each space is smaller, and can take anywhere from a few days to a week per unit. Larger or more multi-phased projects will take longer, and we’ll be sure to go over a projected timeline with you before we begin.
Do you offer a bid or formal proposal we can take to ownership?
Yes. We provide a written scope of work and quote you can take to ownership, a property manager, or whomever else needs to approve the work before we begin.
What is included in the estimate?
The estimate covers labor, materials, and a written scope of work so there aren’t any surprises after the fact. If time and/or phasing affect the cost it will be noted clearly before we begin.
Do you do flooring installation for restaurants and bars, including the kitchen and bar areas?
Yes. Restaurant/bar flooring has its own set of requirements, especially when it comes to grease and slip-resistance in the kitchen and bar areas. We use commercial-grade, slip-resistant materials that are suited to those conditions, and we understand that every closed day costs you revenue. As such, we typically work quickly and outside of normal business hours when possible.
Do you do flooring for apartment buildings, including the unit turn-over?
Yes. Whether it’s common area or unit specific flooring we can work with property managers to do the work around tenants or during turn-over. If you’re managing multiple units or buildings we can also discuss a rotation schedule to minimize vacancy time.
